summer bash at shoes on fourth

I helped organize an event at Shoes on Fourth in Vancouver to help support Dress for Success. For every pair of shoes sold during the event, the store donated a pair of shoes to DFS. The evening was a great success with friends of the neighbourhood, customers and bloggers in attendance. We donated a total of 56 pairs!

Bit of a warning, I might have got a little carried away is the VSCOcam app when editing the photos.

I was in charge of balloons so naturally I loaded my car up and had to snap a picture!

Each time Shoes on Fourth sold a pair of shoes, they clipped a shoe cut out onto this beautiful ribbon display!

A dear family friend of ours was diagnosed with Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) at a young age. FSHD is the most prevalent of the nine primary types of muscular dystrophy affecting adults and children. Her family hosted an event to help raise awareness and funds in Vancouver which Liam and I attended. Amazing doctors from the United States and all over Canada flew in to talk about FSHD and how far they have come to finding a cure. It was an amazing evening!

2014 was pretty amazing and in many ways I don't know how I will be able to top it. The year was filled with lots of love and laughter and I'm incredibly thankful to everyone who made my year the best one yet. Looking forward to rocking into the New Year with all of you lovelies.
