home for a hoppy holiday

I can always count on my mum to have a lovely wreath on our front door for each holiday. Since it's Easter, naturally I had to go shopping for some fresh cut tulips and found a bushel of them at our local green grocer.

dinner at a vineyard in california

The company I work for hosted a lovely dinner at Cline Cellars Vineyard and Winery in Sonoma Country, California this past summer. We were able to wander around the grounds and view the perfect paths lined with luscious trees, beautiful blooms and an oasis like watering hole.

Naturally, I was wearing my gorgeous faux snake skin Vionic sandals to keep me comfortable yet stylish throughout the whole evening.

Here are a few of the awesome team members!

delicious sushi + beautiful blooms

Nathan and I went to our favourite sushi place, Fukui Sushi on Bayview for lunch. There are a million sushi places in Toronto and surprisingly they aren't all amazing. When I find a new favourite sushi joint, I have to share it with everyone!

On our way home, we came across this luscious nursery. They had just about every type of herb and colourful flower you could imagine! I've done all my planting for the season but it was still really hard not to buy even one pretty flower.

chic sunday dinner

Whether you live in your family home, with friends or your hubby, Sunday night dinner is something that can be enjoyed by everyone. It's the one day of the week that in my personal opinion has been selected as family day. It also is the meal that will prepare you for the week ahead so make sure it's a good one.

How do you make your Sunday night dinner spectacular? Get a few short vases and make an assortment of different flower displays, mix and match your plates (keep with the same colours) and don't forget to accessorize with a few candles!

elegant happily ever after wedding

Alyssa and Steven Terpstra had the perfect happily ever after wedding as they exchanged vows in front of 135 guests on July 7, 2012. This stunning couple looked adorable with nothing but love in their eyes on their special day with a magical setting at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. From beginning to end, this wedding was exquisite with a lovely colour pallet and simple decor. The happy couple welcomed a daughter a few months ago named Coco! Congratulations on the start of your beautiful family!

{wedding wednesday} perfect hair. perfect dress.

Most of us dream of this day and often stress that it won't be completely perfect. We flip through magazines and blogs searching for the perfect dress, hair style, flowers, cake, venue, groom, etc. I no longer have to stress. If I can copy and paste everything from this wedding, I will be a happy bride (when the day comes). Below is an entire list of how you can re-create this special day!

Seriously loving how the bridesmaids have casual sundresses on!
