aspen chalet

Canada is known for its great white winters, but nothing sounds more winterlicious then spending time at an Aspen chalet! This architecturally beautiful home has everything you could ask for - stunning views, spacious living and lots of wood and stone. This looks like the perfect spot for a family vacation over the holidays!

glass-walled penthouse | upper east side

This modern penthouse in New York's Upper East Side has a spacious floor plan and breathtaking wrap around windows overlooking Central Park. Architect Steven Harris has reflected the 1940s style of Richard Neutra with clean long lines, grand windows and large overhangs. The family who lives here has over time turned two penthouse suites next to each other and a 2-bedroom on the floor below into one grand home.

diane von furstenberg | rooftop penthouse

Step inside the Manhattan home of iconic fashion designer, Diane von Furstenberg. Her lively charm is splashed all over this rooftop penthouse located above her store. I am drooling over all of the animal prints and original artwork!

white california oasis

Featured in Architectural Digest, interior designer, Emily Summers, Lance O'Donnell of o2 Architecture and Wayne Carlton Connor & Assoc. have created a white oasis retreat for Summers and her family at the Eldorado Country Club in Indian Wells, California. Paying close attention to detail and space, this restored 1969 home is now a lovely showcase of vintage pieces, playful wallpaper and iconic furniture such as the Warren Platner chair.

The luxurious Warren Platner settee, lounge chair and ottoman are the perfect pieces for this serene living room.
The television above the fireplace is hidden by hand painted wallpaper screens by Porter Teleo.

I have never seen such a unique vintage gondola sofa before, it is truly magnificent!

This light by Jean de Merry is so fun! It reminds me of something in the ocean. The vintage mint Jens Risom chairs is a lovely accent of colour to this glamorous dining room.

bathroom with a view

This guest bathroom has the stunning view of the up close and personal cliffside. By using colours from the rock on the interior, this allows for the walls around the window to frame the artwork that is outside. The beautiful natural light is bounced off the landscape into the bathroom. A vase of flowers is always a lovely and subtle touch to add to any room.

for the love of frames and shelving

17 foot high walls and wide open ceilings was the blank canvas for Descience Laboratories in this Lower East Side New York loft. Featured in Architectural Digest in the October 2011 issue, feast your eyes on the at-home-library of the one of a kind fashion photographer duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Their out of body and out and mind thinking has created a home for their own.

A mixture of frames in a variety sizes and colours accents a wall to be its own masterpiece.

Leave some open space for personal artwork.

The stunning and gigantic windows are perfectly framed with custom shelving holding books.
